Copying and printing
If you need to print or copy your handout, you can either do it in the reproshop at the venue (from 8:30 till 16:30 from Wednesday till Friday; ask the organizers for details) or in some copy shop. The closest one to the venue is Copy Copy.
Getting around
The center of Groningen is small enough to get everywhere on foot. If you need to go to some more distant places or be faster, you might find the following information useful.
Public transportation
SCHEDULING: For scheduling a public transportation trip (or in fact any kind of trip within the Netherlands), use the 9292 door-to-door journey planner.
TICKETS: If you just go for a single public transportation trip, buy a ticket at the driver (1,50 euro for a short trip). If you plan going more often, it is good to buy the so-called strippenkaart (strip card). Strippenkaarts should be valid on all buses, trams and metro lines in the the whole Netherlands and offer the most economical option for visitors [NOTE: The Dutch public transport system is in the middle of a technical reconstruction, gradually introducing digital cards. At this point, strippenkaarts are not valid for connections where digital cards are required.] Strippenkaarts are sold at all train stations, newspaper shops, post offices, and some grocery stores.
Bike rental
Bike is the most usual means of transportation in the Netherlands. If you want to rent one, you will pay around 5 euro/day. In Groningen (as well as in other cities) you can rent a bike at the train station.
