I am aware that this is certainly an unconventional approach to starting a business relationship but as time goes on you will realize the need for my action. I am Mr. Richard Zilinkomo, a native of South Africa currently residing in Spain for a management course, at the one of the Spanish universities. Allow me to explain my reason and importance of my writing to you. Sir I am requesting your assistance in order to redeem an investment made with the Southern Mining Corporations Limited, in which I am a senior accountant. The said investment now valued at Six Million United States of American Dollars (U.S.$6,000.000.00) was purchased as shares and bonds by Mr. Raju Penmatchav, an Indian national, and contracted out to the Southern Mining Corporations Limited in September 1979. This redeemable investment interest has now matured and has been cleared for disbursement since March of 2001. Upon maturity, we sent a routine notification to Mr. Raju Penmatchav forwarding address but got no reply. After some months, we sent a reminder and no reply again. Since then, there has been an extensive global wide attempt to locate the way about of Mr. Raju Penmatchav. Then the management now decided to use the help of some independent search agencies in locating him. We have confirmed through those three independent search agencies that Mr. Mr. Raju Penmatchav died from an airplane crash (Singapore Airlines) on the 1st of June 2000 among other passengers. On further investigations, I also found out that he died without making a WILL, and all attempts to trace his next of kin was fruitless. I therefore made further investigation and discovered that Mr. Raju Penmatchav did not declare any kin or relations in all his official documents with the corporation. This sum of US$6,000,000.00 is still sitting in the corporation’s account w! ith the Apex bank of South Africa and the interest is being rolled over with the principal sum at the end of each year. No one has ever come forward to claim it. According to South African Law, at the expiration of 5 (five) years, the money will revert to the ownership of the South African Government if nobody applies to claim the fund. Consequently, my proposal is that I will like you to stand in as the next of kin to Mr. Raju Penmatchav so that the fruits of this old man's labour will not get into the hands of some corrupt government officials. This is simple, I will like you to provide immediately your full names and address so that our Attorney will prepare the necessary documents and affidavits, which will put you in place as the next of kin. We shall employ the services of two Attorneys for drafting and notarization of the WILL and to obtain the necessary documents and letter of probate/administration in your favour for the transfer. A bank account in any part of the world, which you will provide, will then facilitate the transfer of this money to you as the beneficiary/next of kin. The money wil! l be paid into your account for us to share in the ratio of 70% for me and 25% for you and 5% be used in settling taxation and all local and foreign expenses. There is no risk at all as all the paperwork for this transaction will be done by the Attorneys and my position as the accountant of the corporation guarantees the successful execution of this transaction. I hope that you are able to understand the entire nature of my proposal. There is no risk involved in this transaction now or after the successful conclusion of it. As stated earlier, there are no living relatives to lay claims on these funds. Therefore this transaction is legal, however without your assistance this money will be returned over to the South African government as lost fund. Please for further question, feel free to contact me through this e-mail address: afzilinkomo@hotmail.com and let me know if this proposal is acceptable to you. Best regards, Richard Zilinkomo
