ASSOCIATED ACTIVITES: LOT Winter School: The conference will take place in the weekend between the two-week LOT Winterschool, also held in Groningen, which will make it practical for PhD students to attend the conference. There is a reduced conference fee for PhD students.
Pre-conference Seminar cancelled: Prof. Lila Gleitman's pre-conference seminar that was scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2009, on the interface between language and cognition has been cancelled.
Other conferences: CLIN, the 19th Meeting of Computational Linguistics in the Netherlands will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2009. CLIN is held in conjunction with TLT 7, The 7th International Workshop on Treebanks and Linguistic Theories, which will take place in Groningen on January 23-24, 2009. |
