====== SimpleText, a lexical and syntactic simpliﬁer: ﬁrst steps. ====== We have implemented a web service to help users to simplify their texts. Two types of simplification can be done, a lexical simplification or a syntactic simplification. For the lexical part, this simplification is done for English and Basque languages. For the syntactic part, only some steps have been implemented and only for Basque.
