=== SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ===
The Add-In should run on all versions of MS Excel for Windows 2003 and up. It does not run on Excel for Mac.

=== NOTE ===
If you use a version of Excel that is older than Excel 2010, the random number generator used in the Add-In (the RAND() worksheet function) does not generate truly random numbers. The Add-In will work, but the results of the Add-In functions might not be fully reliable. From Excel 2010 and up, the random number generator has been much improved and is reliable. See Mlard, G. (2014): On the accuracy of statistical procedures in Microsoft Excel 2010. Computational statistics 29 (5), 1095-1128.

=== INSTALLATION OF THE ADD-IN ===
In Excel, open the Add-Ins dialogue:

Excel versions before 2007: Go to Tools > Add-Ins
Excel 2007 and up: On the Developer tab, click on Add-Ins. If you don't have a Developer tab, click on the Office button (2007) or File (2010 and up), select Excel Options (2007) or Options (2010 and up) and then click Add-Ins. On the bottom of that window, choose Manage: Excel Add-ins and click Go... .

In the Add-Ins dialogue that pops up, click Browse... and select the file DSTfunctions_v3.xla. Click Yes in case Excel asks you whether to copy that file. Make sure Dstfunctions_V3 is checked in the list of Add-Ins and click OK.

The Add-In is now installed and you should have 5 new buttons for the Add-In functions, either on a new toolbar (before 2007) or in the Add-Ins tab (2007 and up). Click Help for more info.
