The annual TABU Dag is an international linguistics conference organized at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Researchers, students and other interested people are warmly invited to participate! Over the last 30 years TABU Dag has been an open conference with a varied programme and guest speakers from different fields.

The conference offers excellent opportunities to meet other linguists and discuss current research in several areas of linguistics. Postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers in particular are encouraged to present their work.

The 2012's TABU Dag will be held on 18-19 June 2012. You can find other the important dates here.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 33rd TABU Dag!

15 June 2012
On Sunday evening June 17th at 19:00, early arrivals to the conference can informally meet at café De Pintelier in Groningen. Participants going to De Pintelier must keep in mind that the Dutch soccer team is playing, so the café will be crowded. This isn't part of the official schedule, but it provides an opportunity for early arrivals to meet each other and get out-and-about before the conference begins!
