Treaties that were extended by Portugal to Flag of the Government of Portuguese Macau (1976–1999).svg Portuguese Macau (1537–1999). Portugal gained sovereignty over Macau (and therefore the power to extend treaties to it) in 1887. A treaty extended to Macau by Portugal remains in force for Macau only if China has declared that it continues to be in force for Macau.
