The station features art by Carlson Hatton that visually celebrates the musical heritage of the area.[1] A nearby mural was also was created to improve the first/last mile experience by using local stories collected by young people.[2]

Location[edit]

It will be located near the corner of Crenshaw Blvd and Slauson Avenue, serving the Hyde Park district of Los Angeles. The station will be served by the Crenshaw/LAX Line. It will be located a short walking distance from View Park Preparatory High School. This station is currently under construction and slated to be open in 2020.[3]
