This is a list of asana-teaching gurus of modern yoga from India. A more general list of spiritual gurus of all types is List of Hindu gurus.

Indian asana yoga gurus[edit]

This section lists Indian gurus of asana (postural) yoga, including those who helped to create the international modern asana yoga movement.

Guru-shishya (or in some cases teacher-pupil) relationships are shown by indentation of the list.
