This is a list of provinces of the Philippines, including Metro Manila, in order of their Human Development Index (HDI).

Methodology[edit]

The HDI values are provided by the Human Development Network (HDN) of the Philippines[1] and have been updated as of 2012.

Highs and lows[edit]

All provinces surrounding Metro Manila have a high HDI value. Metro Manila, Benguet, and Rizal already have very high HDI values (≥0.800). The southern region of Mindanao has three of the provinces with the lowest (low) HDI values (<0.550).[1]
