List of teams
The football team plays in Alex Nemzek Stadium. It is named after Alex Nemzek, athletic director of what was then called Moorhead State Teachers College. He was director from 1923 to 1941. It has a seating capacity of 6,000.
MSUM has a wide variety of intramural sports including flag football, softball, and soccer. Club teams are also available for men's and women's rugby, men's and women's lacrosse, and baseball which compete nationally. A new ice hockey club team is planned for 2018-19.
