Talk:Auguste de Marmont

This article needs work. It sounds like it was written by third grader.

I agree. Especially towards the end it's starting to read like a dramatization, and overall it appears to be poorly translated from French, or in the case of the quotes, not translated at all. I'd give it a go, but non-French source material on Marmont is nigh unfindable. 09:50, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Marmont replaced Massena in 1811, not in 1810 as stated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 20:13, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

I attempted to further remove some of the "peacocking" language and grammatical errors. This article is O.K. right now, but it lacks in several places in-line citations. It also relies on one source, which as others have discussed (seven years ago!!) is likely from a lack of sources in English. SirMinkMay (talk) 11:57, 15 November 2014 (UTC)
