The children of Prince Maurits and Princess Marilène are

Anastasia van Lippe-Biesterfeld van Vollenhoven Lucas van Lippe-Biesterfeld van Vollenhoven Felicia van Lippe-Biesterfeld van Vollenhoven

Because they have such long names I recommend to use their first names only:

Anastasia Lucas Felicia

Better (correct) first names only then (incorrect) surnames!

What do you think?

Their inclusion is totally unnecessary. They are not Dutch royals. Charles 15:52, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
They are not members of the Dutch Royal House, but they are members of the Dutch Royal Family. All in all, at least 12 members of the Dutch Royal Family are missing from this list. Cows fly kites (Aecis) Rule/Contributions 13:33, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Is "Prof. mr. Pieter van Vollenhoven " correct? Rich Farmbrough, 11:23 13 October 2006 (GMT).

mr. is the Dutch equivalent of LL.M. (a Master of Laws degree): it's an academic title, not a royal one (Van Vollenhoven is not entitled to bear a royal title). Cf. [1]. I don't think "mr." is used in English texts when referring to Van Vollenhoven (cf. [2]). Sixtus 12:26, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Navigational template[edit]

Since this is a navigational template, could it be changed into an implementation of {{navbox}}? – Ilse@ 12:27, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Very unclear template![edit]

I don't understand this template at all, can somebody explain it to me? What is the reason, part of the inner royal family or membership of the dutch royal house? So why are Princess Irene, Princess Christina and Prince Friso and his wife and all the sons of Princess Margriet and their wifes included??? They are not member of the dutch royal house! Is it on basis of the fact that they belong to the inner royal family? But why then are the children of Prince Friso and Prince Constantijn excluded? They are closer relatives to the queen than Prince Pieter-Christiaan and Princess Christina who are instead included (but not members of the dutch royal house). It make no sense! I am not sure when the official website of the Dutch monarchy became an authority on English language but if it is indeed correct, then all the other templates in Category:Europe royal family templates should be corrected. This one shouldn't stand out just because the webmaster of that website decided not to capitalise the definite article. Surtsicna (talk) 18:20, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Can someone update this Royal template, now that Willem-Alexander is a King and it leads at the top of the template following Queen Máxima? Then, the former Queen Beatrix goes below at the template leaving only the new King's brothers are hidden out on the template as "extended Royal families", just like other Royals. Rule king/queen monarch[edit]

Yep. if the children and grandchildren from the king/queen dies then sister-in-law/brother-in-law can't be a member of the royal family.

rule throne king/queen candidate, there are two options:
  • only male child from the sequence; or
  • the sequence child (from above to below) (talk) 01:29, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
