Mission Statement
This user is interested in ancient history, and particularly in the civilizations of ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. As a result, the majority of this user's mainspace contributions are to articles that fall within the scope of those subjects; though they are by no means limited to only those topics. Below is a list of goals, that are the scoped objectives of this user. They are open to change, whether increasing or decreasing the scope. The following are those objectives that pertain to the topic of ancient history;
1. the current main focus: expanding and writing articles about the pyramids of the Fifth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Egypt, of which there are nine, with the intent of bringing each of them to FA.
2. to take biographical articles on well known, or notable ancient Romans to the quality of a B-class article and beyond.
3. to take biographical articles on well known, or notable ancient Greek philosophers, lawgivers, and scholars to the quality of a B-class article and beyond.
4. to take biographical articles on well known, or notable ancient Egyptians to the quality of a B-class article and beyond.
5. to take non-biographical articles on topics pertaining to ancient Egypt – such as about their beliefs, writings, dynasties, and way of life – to the quality of a B-class article and beyond.
6. to take articles on well known, or notable ancient battles, wars and sieges to the quality of a B-class article and beyond.
7. to take articles on notable ancient architectures and architectural achievements to the quality of a B-class article and beyond.
8. to take articles which do not belong to the interests of this user, but are of interest to them, to the quality of a B-class article, and beyond.
Other editors who have incidentally helped this user towards achieving these goals are sincerely appreciated. Wikipedia is a permanent work in progress, so too then, must any objectives be. If an objective above is achieved, that does not mean that it is a permanent achievement. Standards will rise, new information will become available, and many of the articles within the scope of this work will be affected by this.

Good Article Reviewing Table[edit]

Below is a wikitable that could be used to perform good article nomination reviews, it figures, that if you can bring an article to GA status, then logically you should be able to help assess whether another editor's article is a or could potentially be a GA. Mr rnddude (talk) 07:55, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
Good Article (GA) Assessment Table
Rate Attribute Review Comment
1. Well written:
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct. Comment on the criteria item here, would the article pass/fail if no changes were to be made. If fail; how could the problem be rectified, and is it reasonable to let the review continue prior to the problem being fixed. If it cannot realistically be fixed during the nomination review, quick fail.
1b. it complies with the manual of style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation.
2. Verifiable with no original research:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline.
2b. all inline citations are from reliable sources, including those for direct quotations, statistics, published opinion, counter-intuitive or controversial statements that are challenged or likely to be challenged, and contentious material relating to living persons—science-based articles should follow the scientific citation guidelines.
2c. it contains no original research.
2d. it contains no copyright violations nor plagiarism.
3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic.
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).
4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content.
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions.
7. Overall assessment.

Updated DYK query.svgOn 11 December 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Gaius Antonius Hybrida, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that expulsion from the Senate did not prevent Gaius Antonius Hybrida from attaining the highest elected office in the Roman Republic? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Gaius Antonius Hybrida. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Gaius Antonius Hybrida), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
