what do you prefer[edit]

What do you prefer?

do you prefer:

  1. that i copy over your work of changing refs
  2. i revert stright to the sane lede reverting ref change (so it mater if auto or h&b)

by the way as u men of refs format on my t:p ||> do u do it by hand using brain OR kind of soft IF soft are sources open AND where ? (talk) 07:43, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

I can't really understand what you are asking here, but what I would prefer is that you stop being disruptive. If you make a change, and it is reverted, then you should not keep making the same change repeatedly, day after day. Agricolae (talk) 08:02, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
what part you don't understand ?
"i revert stright to the sane lede reverting ref change (so it mater if auto or h&b)" is completely incoherent. Agricolae (talk) 08:25, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
and do you pretend to undertand the sources you deleting ? (talk) 08:18, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
No pretending involved. Agricolae (talk) 08:25, 26 September 2019 (UTC)

Lists of records are always "trivia" to someone. Longest-lived members of a royal family by birth and by marriage are both distinctly relevant and there's no reason to cover only one. (talk) 00:31, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

Yes, such a list is always trivia to someone, and often trivia to almost everyone. The problem is that this list is also largely Original Research. This page went through a deletion vote, and though it ended in 'no consensus', there was general agreement that so-called records that had no citation should be pared out of the article. Issues with User[edit]

I hope this is not an inappropriate place to post this. The User (after making two unexplained and seemingly unjustified/unsupported edits to a page I watch, which I reverted with explanations) is again making basically incoherent posts to the Talk page (at least one that I know of) of the Homo sapiens idaltu page — the same aforementioned page they edited. I have tried to respond, but their responses to me are similarly incomprehensible and seem to take into account nothing that I say (I simply do not understand most of what they say, and clarifications and explanations on my part do not seem to help). If this continues, (especially if they begin again to make disruptive edits and are unreceptive on the Talk page), should I attempt to report this user, and to what party and how would I do this?. I see from their talk page that the user has had temporary blocks before, which seem to have had little effect on their behavior. Resolution seems difficult with this user and I fear a conflict with them that could continue indefinitely (I certainly want to avoid an edit war). Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you. The user has been creating chaos on a number of pages relevant to paleoanthropology over the past month, and you are correct that they are unlikely to stop. While one could request page protection for the individual pages, the IP has been metastasizing onto more and more pages, so the better solution is to take it to AN/I (Administrators' Noticeboard/Incidents). Given that the IP has been edit warring on a number of pages, accusing other editors of acting in bad faith and being largely incomprehensible on Talk pages, a case could be made that they should be blocked for a period of time. You should not mention the earlier bans. An IP may not be stable, so it cannot be proven that the person using that IP earlier is the same one doing so now. If you do create a thread on AN/I, it would be a good idea to drop a note on Talk:Denisovan and Talk:Neanderthal, where the IP has also been a nuisance. @Agricolae:: I have left a message on the AN/I pages (and a notice on the IP/user's Talk page). Hopefully the issue will be addressed/looked into. Skllagyook (talk) 05:54, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
