RE Ron Paul Revolution[edit]

Sorry, that was my fault - in closing the DRV I had to remove the strike-through. It doesn't matter anyway, since the consensus on that DRV was virtually unanimous. WaltonOne 12:59, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Marking edits as minor[edit]

Information.svg Please remember to mark your edits as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thank you. --Jac16888 (talk) 03:11, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Zits[edit]

Since exercise doesn't work to reduce acne, I suggest you try diet, in this case by limiting fatty foods, especially saturated fats and trans-fats (which are so unhealthy they should be banned anyway). If she follows a fat-free diet for one week, I'd predict very noticeable results. This will hopefully be enough evidence to convince her to stick with the diet, before she gets permanent acne scars. Hi Goon Noot, (re your post at the ref desk talk) I did see that (that you're a regular), but rather than get into labels, phobias and other aversions, it's a good idea to see your gp about anxiety and unexplained signs of stress. Best, Julia Rossi (talk) 12:31, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. User group for Military Historians[edit]

Greetings,

"Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group. It also provides a platform to share the best practices between military historians, and various military related projects on Wikipedias. An initial discussion was has been done between the coordinators and members of WikiProject Military History on English Wikipedia. Now this discussion has been taken to Meta-Wiki. Contributors intrested in the area of military history are requested to share their feedback and give suggestions at Talk:Discussion to incubate a user group for Wikipedia Military Historians.
