ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for March 16[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Payoneer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amazon. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Assaf Kidron[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Assaf Kidron has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. WWGB (talk) 11:37, 21 May 2017 (UTC)

About Maya Isacowitz[edit]

Hi Uziel, and thanks for your message,
I hope it wasn't too much of a bother to you, me jumping into a new page like that.
I have a new pages feed set up, and do like tidying up new articles. I noticed that your edit summary in the initial version of the article mentioned that it was translated from the Hebrew Wikipedia. In accordance with the inter wiki licence requirements, a translation does require attribution, which I added in the article talk-page a bit later. I also noticed that the initial version of the article didn't appear to enough reliable sources. (I think I probably have a personal opinion about what constitutes a reliable source that's more strict that the official policy. As faults go, I think that's a good fault to have.) So I added the Jerusalem Post reference. This also meant it would avoid having a {{Db-person}} "WP:A7" speedy deletion tag added to the page, as users who patrol new pages - people like me, for example - sometimes do without googling up things.
I do note that some of the references are still what might not be considered reliable sources for a biography of a living person:

That's the reason I added the {{BLP sources|date=November 2017}} tag to the article. I hope this explains some of my edits to the article. Please let me know if you have any questions about this. Pete AU aka --Shirt58 (talk) 10:34, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

Shirt58, thanks for the full explanation, and also for the help editing the article.
I have no claims about the sources reliability, just asked about the template stating the article needs additional citations, and I added citations as I could.Uziel302 (talk) 14:40, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Milter (disambiguation)[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Milter (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Per WP:2DABS and WP:PTM.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File:Snapseed Icon.png[edit]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:09, 14 July 2018 (UTC)
