  • I noticed the "semi-active" tag on the project page for Wikipedia:WikiProject Libertarianism and seek to change this status. There are several articles related to libertarianism that are being edited. Some have maintenance templates and need to be improved. There have been recent posts on the project page, but I would like to invite more editors to help improve the article. I'm not sure how invite templates work. Reliable sources and article quality improves the chances of articles on notable subjects remaining in Wikipedia. Participation by knowledgeable editors will improve the clarity of articles. Editors need to have a quick way to locate tagged articles so they may make the suggested improvements. Please help revive this project. Today I archived the 2016 discussions to streamline this talk page.--Libertyguy (talk) 04:24, 3 June 2017 (UTC)

I'd like to invite you to join the Investment WikiProject. There are a lot of Investment related articles on Wikipedia that could use a little attention, and I hope this project can help organize an effort to improve them. So please, take a look and if you like what you see, help get this project off the ground and a few Investment pages into the front ranks of Wikipedia articles. Thanks!

  • WikiProject Genealogy is looking for participants. The project has been revived with a new focus: to improve articles related to genealogy as a field, not just to build family trees on Wikipedia. There are several article about genealogy needing improvement. If you have any interest in genealogy at all please consider helping out. Thank you. Tea and crumpets (talk) 23:54, 26 July 2019 (UTC)

    • Teahouse previous article was published in May of 2012 about the time of the Teahouse startup. I thought it would be interesting to evaluate & assess how TH has progressed since then. JoeHebda • (talk) 20:10, 15 July 2017 (UTC)

Call for interviews[edit]

  1. First, at an open Workspace page below, reserve an open workspace page for your interview questions. Do this by updating the Workspace wikitable.
  2. At your reserved Workspace page, prepare questions for the WikiProject members to be interviewed.
  3. Next, see the Template page below. At the template's subpage, copy and paste at the destination WikiProject's talk page (new section).
  4. At the destination WikiProject's talk page, change the WikiProject xxxxxxx to the correct WP name.
  5. At the destination WikiProject's talk page, add your signature to the new Call for interviews with ~~~~. Do not sign below.
  6. Add the destination WikiProject to your watchlist to check for responses.

Workspace for interviews[edit]

To conduct interviews, use one of the following workspace (#1 - 8) pages.

For each person taking part in the interview, post on their talk page a wikilink to their assigned workspace, and add their names to the User column below. There is a pre-formatted notification template for you to copy-and-paste to the interviewee's talk page. Remember to change the wikilink to the correct Workspace number for their WikiProject, and to add your signature with ~~~~ at the bottom.

Template located at Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Newsroom/WikiProject desk/Call for interviews

This template can be used at destination WikiProject's talk page. Use the following code (replacing WIKIPROJECT NAME with the actual name of the WikiProject)

{{subst:Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/Newsroom/WikiProject desk/Call for interviews|WIKIPROJECT NAME}}

to add a Call for interviews that looks like this:

=== From the WikiProject desk at The Signpost ===
  1.  –
  2.  –
  3.  –
  4.  –
Going forward, each participant receives a wikilink to the interview workspace questions about the project's work, problems and achievements.

Upcoming articles and authors are listed here. Before adding a new article to the schedule, please check the WikiProject Desk archive to ensure it is not a repeat of a recent interview and discuss the proposed schedule change with the other current authors on the talk page.
