Our project is dedicated to improving articles and coverage related to Canada in a fair and accurate manner, with an emphasis on subjects with national significance. Some project goals are to help improve vital articles, continue developing quality standards, maintain and expand templates, lists, portals and categories in a manner that helps users browse the articles that fall under this project's scope. Editors are encouraged to participate in the more regional and/or topic specific Canadian Wikiprojects.
As of 25 May 2019, there are 112,389 articles within the scope of WikiProject Canada, of which 242 are featured and 590 are good articles. This makes up 1.92% of the articles on Wikipedia, 2.70% of all featured articles and lists, and 1.99% of all good articles (see: Canadian Featured content). Including non-article pages, such as talk pages, redirects, categories, etcetera, there are 316,060 pages in the project.
The following is a list of Wikiprojects which focus on a specific topic within the scope of Canada.
The outlines are hierarchical lists of topics. Each outline summarizes an entire subject, and Wikipedia's coverage of it, such as Canada, one of its provinces or territories, or a city. Each outline serves as a guide to its subject, and as a table of contents or site map of Wikipedia on that subject.
