Exhaustion Wednesday

Five things we know after yesterday's Primary:

1. NH's first-in-the-nation Primary was a big winner last night. Great turnout. Eat our shorts Senator Levin!

2. The Mac is back, has the Big Mo and is in the driver's seat. But the GOP Primary race is still very fluid.

3. There is a reason why we always say we don't like polls.

4. About 2/3rds of the Gang of 500 spent Monday and most of Tuesday talking utter nonsense about Team Clinton. Shame! And a big congrats to Nick and the Gang over at NH Clinton HQ. We've been talking up your campaign organization for 12 months. You made us look smart last night.

5. The Mac is back... Oh, sorry, we've already said that.

Well then, take it away Chuck!

FLASH: MCCAIN TEAM NEW HAMPSHIRE HELPS AN AMERICAN HERO HOLD THE LINE IN THE GRANITE STATE

Over the next several days (weeks/months/years) much ink will be spilled about John McCain's come from behind victory in the 2008 New Hampshire Primary.

We won't even try to compete with all that tonight.

We would simply like to say that we never doubted that Senator McCain would pull out a victory.

First, he's Johnny Mac.

Second, we know how hard Team McCain New Hampshire worked - through good times and bad - to put the good Senator in a position to win. And we know how bloody good that they are.

So we would like to say:

Well done Senator McCain!

Well done Team McCain New Hampshire!

Well done indeed!

Now, where the f*ck is the bar!

FLASH: WE STILL DON"T KNOW JACK SQUAT!

Although things should become much clearer in about 33 minutes when the polls close.

Record Turnout?

It's early. And the polls have only been open for a short while.

But the crowds that we are seeing at polling locations in Manchester seem to support the idea that today will be a record turnout in the New Hampshire Primary.

The big winner if true?

New Hampshire's First-In-The-Nation status post 2008.

Take that Carl Levin!

Primary Day Has Arrived

And we have a 7 minute and 33 second video summation of the last 15 months on the New Hampshire campaign trail.

It's been brutal.

But what a soundtrack.

And by tonight we will know who plays what role in the movie.
