Peter Jones, 53, has been offering tickets to attend the funeral of the dead soap actress Paula Williamson for £500 each
The boyfriend of deceased Coronation Street star Paula Williamson has been found to be selling tickets to her funeral for £500 each.
Williamson was sadly found dead of a suspected overdose in her home on the 29th of July. She was found laying on a 'bed of cocaine and tablets'
Now, lorry driving boyfriend, Peter Jones, 53 has contacted the press offering attendance to the soap star's funeral in exchange for cash.
Jones claims to have been dating Williamson since February and that the two were trying for a baby alongside thinking about getting married.
But a source close Paula's family has told the Daily Star that they had barely even heard of him.
The source said: 'This guy has been trying to cash in on her death. It's sick.'
'As far as charging for the funeral, her family would never consider it and are appalled if someone is trying to profit from this awful situation.'
Jones's relationship claims came as a surprise to the star's family.
Paula had previously made headlines for her shock marriage to Charles Bronson, the notorious HMP Wakefield inmate in 2017, which the source says she was in the process of getting annulled before she died.
Paula's marriage to Charles Bronson reportedly broke down after the HMP Wakefield inmate saw photos of her having her breasts kissed by a male admirer while on holiday in Spain last year
Bronson had previously written letters which were aired on TV stating that Williamson has a 'drink and prescription drug problem which made her do crazy things.'
Paula's funeral service will be held in Smallthorne, Staffordshire on what would have been her 39th birthday.
She will be taken to the crematorium in a horse-drawn carriage. The horses will be black with pink plumes.
