It is a house most of us can only dream of, a £4million pile next to Marilyn Monroe’s former home.
But Ewan McGregor looks set to hand over the lavish Los Angeles mansion to his soon-to-be ex-wife in their divorce deal.
The Scots star and Eve Mavrakis, who have been married 23 years, are cutting all financial ties before the marriage formally ends.
Their estate is said to be worth in excess of £20million – plus a £1million pension pot.
They have also been separating their assets in Britain, with McGregor taking control of three jointly owned companies.

California community property laws state finances must be split down the middle in a divorce, regardless of who earned the cash.
The 48-year-old Trainspotting star filed court documents petitioning a Los Angeles judge to dissolve his marriage to Miss Mavrakis – declaring them both single – before they have finalised their divorce.
McGregor is dating his former Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead. They were first spotted kissing in October 2017.
Attorney Kristina Otterstrom, a family law expert for website Lawyers.com, said: ‘If you leave matters up to a judge, the parent with custody of minor children will probably get to stay in the marital home.
‘This is because a home is seen as a source of stability for children embroiled in the midst of their parents’ divorce.’
The split has been contentious, with McGregor asking for joint custody of their four children – Clara, 23, Jamyan, 18, Esther, 17, and Anouk, eight. However, former production designer Miss Mavrakis responded by asking for sole custody and visitation rights for the actor.
The couple bought the 1930s mansion, in the Brentwood area of LA, for around £1.5million in 2002.
