Love Island's Irish fans are left raging as ITV voting does not extend outside the UK... leading to Maura and Greg's families BEGGING Brit viewers to keep them in the villa
Love Island's Irish fans have been left furious as voting does not extend outside to their country, meaning they cannot try to save the two Irish natives in the villa.
Irish contestants Maura Higgins and Greg O'Shea's families have been forced to beg the UK public to keep the duo in the villa amid the vote announced on Friday night.
The duo, who are paired with Curtis Pritchard and Amber Gill respectively, have taken the villa by storm but fans living in the Republic of Ireland were unable to cast their vote to save them - much to the families' chagrin.

Only viewers in the UK, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands can vote on the Love Island app. Meanwhile fans in Ireland took to Twitter to vent their frustration over the voting rules, as they begged Loved Island bosses to be able to vote.
One Love Island fan wrote: 'We need rights in Ireland how are we in the year 2019 and we STILL don’t have the right to vote in Love Island #LoveIsland Free Maura and Greg'.
Another said: 'So now that there's 2 Irish people in the villa can all Irish people PLEASE now be able to vote?????'.

It comes as Love Island saw its most explosive recoupling yet on Friday, as Amber chose Limerick-born Greg over her former flame Michael.
As she struggled with her decision, the beauty admitted the Irish hunk lifted her spirits after Michael left her feeling 'miserable,' leaving the firefighter to be paired up with Francesca.

Fans took to Twitter in droves to celebrate Amber's decision, just as they were quick to slam Michael, as he openly told Amber he doesn't think her new romance with Greg will work.
Explaining her decision, Amber said: 'It's been the hardest decision that I've had to make, I really don't know what the right thing to do is it's hard.
'I've got one boy we've had history, we've had ups and downs but I can't deny there's a connection there and then I've got another guy that's come in and put a smile back on my face when I've been miserable.

'I didn't shut him down after five minutes which was a good sign! It's been hard for me to handle and it's hard to choose whether to go with your heart or your head. Or whether you should go for a mixture of both, it's been hard.'
And as she announce she would be sharing a bed with Greg that night, Michael struggled to hide his disappointment, before being coupled up with Francesca Allen.
Elsewhere the recoupling saw the cementing of several other romances, Maura finally coupled with Curtis after weeks of longing and a love triangle drama.

The following day, this began to seem less and less like the truth, as Michael sat Amber down for a chat, where he admitted his true view on her relationship with Greg.
He said: 'I didn't know how things were going with your two or not, I did tell you I'd give you space. Obviously I've hurt you, I get it from the sense of how I feel about it, I hurt you. I understand but I'm not gonna grovel.'
Amber added: I don't want you to grovel, I just want effort put in, I feel he's just trying to put effort in.'
YES! After days of sleeping together outside, Maura finally got to couple up with Curtis, as both said this was the happiest they had been in the villa
Laying it all on the line Michael then dropped the bombshell, saying: 'If you want my honest opinion I don't think you and Greg will work, you are a more out there person than he is, extravagant and fiery than he is.
'I'm still going to speak to you on a level because I feel like we can speak on a level.'
Ending the episode on yet another cliffhanger, Michael's words did not sit well with many fans, especially as narrator Iain Stirling announced that after another public vote, one couple would be dumped from the Island in Sunday's show.
As the dumping looms, it seems Amber is no happier with her decision despite opting to couple up with Greg, and fans will have to wait and see whether Michael will survive the wrath of fans, who were quick to brand him a 'snake'.
Oh dear! Despite insisting that he was happy with Amber's decision, the following evening the hunk dropped a bombshell, by admitting he thinks her romance with Greg 'won't work'
