Chance The Rapper has pulled out of Splendour In The Grass due to illness.
The US artist cancelled his appearance at the Byron Bay festival just 24 hours before his headlining set on Sunday night, after falling ill and being told he cannot fly.
Splendour confirmed the news via Instagram on Saturday, with angry festival-goers now demanding to see Chance's 'medical certificate' on Twitter.

Chance The Rapper had been booked to close the three-day festival, with many fans snapping up tickets purely to see the star on the stage.
Many were left disappointed as Splendour confirmed the news on Instagram and shared a message on the rapper's behalf.
It read: ' We have received news that Chance the Rapper is no longer able to make it to Australia for Splendour In The Grass 2019.

Daily Mail Australia have contacted a representative for Chance The Rapper.
They revealed that Hilltop Hoods have been drafted in as a last-minute replacement to take-over Sunday's headlining spot.
Splendour confirmed that they will be offering refunds to those that purchased a Sunday single day ticket for the festival, but that didn't stop fans taking in their droves to Twitter to share their frustration.

Fans demanded to see Chance's 'medical certificate' when they found out the news, while others questioned the star for more details on his illness.
They wrote: '@chancetherapper can I pls see your medical certificate to confirm why you pulled out of splendour? I bought a ticket purely for you.
'@chancetherapper what are you sick with!!!!

So far Chance hasn't addressed his Splendour no-show on social media.
