Paul Hollywood's divorce is 'getting nasty' as the Bake Off star resists his estranged wife's demands for half of his estimated £10 million fortune
Summer Monteys-Fullam looks happy as her dream of marrying Hollywood gets a little closer
Paul Hollywood is bitterly resisting his estranged wife Alexandra’s demands for half of his estimated £10 million fortune, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
The Great British Bake Off star’s stubborn stance means that their divorce is a ‘long way off’, according to friends of the couple.
On Friday, a judge granted the Hollywoods a decree nisi after their split in November 2017. But the decree absolute to end the marriage altogether will have to await a financial settlement.
It is understood that Mrs Hollywood wants half of the star’s cash after she accused him of ‘adultery’ in papers submitted to the Central Family Court in London.
Despite the bitter feud, his lover Summer Monteys-Fullam, 24, was all smiles yesterday as she walked near the £1.2 million Kent farmhouse she shares with him.
Dressed in a cropped T-shirt emblazoned with the words ‘Killin it’ and a pair of ripped white jeans, barmaid Summer looked happy as her dream of finally marrying Hollywood got a little closer.
A family source said: ‘This is more like months rather than weeks off now, Paul isn’t prepared to give Alex the reasonable sum that she is entitled to at this stage.
‘She had hoped it would be straightforward but it is now far from that.
‘It’s really sad that it is getting this nasty, everyone wants to move on now – nobody more than Summer.’

It was reported that the couple received mediation over how to divide their assets but that failed, meaning that now their wealth will come under closer scrutiny.
On Friday, District Judge Robert Duddridge ruled that Alexandra found it ‘intolerable’ to live with her husband.
The couple first separated in 2013 after Hollywood admitted having an affair with Marcela Valladolid, an American chef 12 years his junior, when they starred together on US television.
Alexandra lives in the couple’s marital home with their son Josh, 17, in Kent.
Speaking of how difficult she has found the split, Alexandra said: ‘Divorce is tough, very tough. You don’t expect it, you are in shock, and all of a sudden you are on your own.
‘I was married for 20 years. But you keep going.’
