Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague reveals producers persuaded her to tell Anna that Anton had flirted with shop assistant after she promised not to tell

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed Love Island producers persuaded her to tell Anna Vakili about Anton Danyluk's flirty supermarket antics on the show.

The reality star, 20, told how the cast became quiet close to the producers during the show but she wishes she had declined some of their requests as she has faced backlash from viewers.

Viewers saw in one episode as Anton flirted with a shop assistant and gave her his number while his partner Bella Hassan was back at the villa. Tommy Fury told Molly-Mae about it who later told Anna.

Molly-Mae told Closer Online: 'There was one point where Tommy told me a little secret about Anton giving his phone number to a shop assistant and when he told me that one of the producers came up to me and said, "You need to tell Anna about that. You need to make sure you tell Anna that that happened".'

The social media influencer had promised Tommy she would not say anything but said the producers persuaded her to tell Anna.

'But I was like "but he just made me promise that I wouldn’t say". She said "don’t worry, we won’t show that bit, it will be fine, just tell Anna". I was like "Ok, fine".

'So I told Anna and I know I got a lot of backlash saying I was being unfaithful to Tommy but sometimes you have to do things in there that you don’t necessarily want to do but for the storyline it just makes it work.'

'It is always our intention to produce a show that is a fair and accurate representation of life in the villa.'

The stunning blonde spoke to host Fleur East about how tough it has been keeping in touch with her Love Island pals but that she and Tommy still have plans to move in together.

She said: 'When Tommy and I came second, we walked off stage together and it sounds a bit cringey but we just looked at each other and we were just like we don't care.

'It was a really lovely moment. I just looked at him and I just literally felt like I'd already won anyway.'

She said rumours that Tommy is quitting boxing are not true: 'That's his life, boxing is him through and through, it's all he knows.

'It's his whole life, he could never, ever give it up. He's gonna take a little break, he's got a very busy few weeks, busy few months, and I think as soon as things calm down, he'll be straight back in the ring.'
