Nicole Scherzinger was left in tears after a moving performance on Sunday's episode of Australia's Got Talent. 

Singer and didgeridoo player Mitch Tambo took to the stage with a modern take on an Aboriginal song and dance performance, leaving the judges very impressed. 

But Nicole, 41, was most moved, and wept as she addressed the 29-year-old, from Melbourne, Victoria.

Breaking down, she said: 'Mitch, honestly dude, I really don't  know what just happened to me right now'. 

She went on:  When you said that this a message of love and of hope, I felt like that was a warrior cry up there.'

The former Pussycat Doll struggled to speak as she went on, swatting away tears from her face.

'I thought he's so fearless and so brave, and I thought I really want to be like you. You are so inspiring,' she declared. 

Nicole added:  'And you're a true, true representative of Australia's beauty and culture and talent'. 

After a breath, the singer added:  'And that's why I have to do this' before rising to her feet.

As the three other judges looked on, delighted, Nicole slammed the Golden Buzzer. 

Mitch looked stunned, saying, 'thank you, thank you,' as gold confetti rained down around him on stage. 

The Golden Buzzer ensures the young performer will automatically go through to the finals.
