Hilary Swank marks one-year wedding anniversary with husband Philip Schneider with rare romantic snap as she proclaims the last 12 months the best year of her life
Hilary Swank has marked her one-year wedding anniversary to husband Philip Schneider with a romantic snap posted to Instagram.
The couple usually keep a low profile but the Oscar winning actress made sure to mark their anniversary by describing their first year of marriage as the 'best of [her] life'.
Hilary, 45, shared a photo of the pair standing in the middle of a street with their arms around each other and a picturesque mountain range visible in the background.

Alongside the post, she wrote: 'It’s been a year!! The best of my life...besides the first year...and second year together. ☺️ Happy one year wedding anniversary, to the love of my life.'
The Million Dollar Baby star cut a casual figure in the snap, donning a denim jacket and letting her brunette locks falling loose down her shoulders.
Philip, who is a social venture entrepreneur from California, wore a tartan shirt and smiled broadly as he embraced his other half.
Hilary and Philip tied-the-knot last August in a surprise ceremony - after their engagement was never announced.

They held the ceremony near their home to accommodate the actress' father who couldn't fly due to having a lung transplant three years ago.
Hilary's maid of honor was her close friend, actress Mariska Hargitay. while Schneider’s own father Phil served as his best man.
The pair began dating in 2016, following the end of her engagement to professional tennis player, Ruben Torres.
Hilary told Vogue magazine that she met the businessman through a blind date set up by a friend named Jean and Vicki, the wife of Supernatural star and Philip's best pal Misha Collins.

Hilary was previously married to Chad Lowe from 1997 until their split in January 2006, eventually finalizing their divorce in November 2007.
The actress made her film debut in a minor role in the 1992 movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer and later broke out in the 1994 film The Next Karate Kid.
She then appeared in the TV show Beverly Hills 90210 from 1997 to 1998 and earned critical acclaim after starring in the 1999 biographical drama Boys Don’t Cry.
