Stacey Solomon struggles uphill as she carries groceries while pushing baby Rex in his pram... after admitting she's exhausted from sleepless nights

She revealed this week she feels exhausted by sleepless nights as she adjusts to life with a newborn.

And Stacey Solomon looked like she had her hands full as she juggled carrying her food shopping while pushing baby Rex, three months, in his pram in Essex on Wednesday.

With her boyfriend Joe Swash away on holiday, the Loose Women presenter, 29, struggled uphill as she pushed Rex, with her pram laden with shopping after a trip to Waitrose.

Stacey cut a chic figure in a loose-fitting blue and white striped top and skinny white jeans.

The X Factor star opted for comfort on her feet and donned a pair of black sunglasses for the mother-son outing.

After a quick trip around Waitrose, Stacey headed back home clutching a bag full of groceries, while stuffing a butternut squash and laundry detergent in a compartment at the bottom of Rex's pram.

Stacey has been busy sharing updates on social media as she adjusts to life with Rex and posted a sweet selfie with her youngest on Wednesday, before candidly confessing the realities of nights with a baby.

Turning to her followers for advice, Stacey wrote: 'Staring at him thinking “my goodness you’re adorable!” Simultaneously thinking ‘when do babies go through the night again?’

Continuing, the Loose Women star asked her fans for tips, writing: 'I can’t believe I’m going to ask this but... When did your babies go through the night? And what is the secret (don’t worry I know there isn’t one really but I’m curious to hear what other people tried)?'

'I’m sure lots of people may feel that it’s not cool to be wishing the time away (I’m not at all) and that we should embrace and enjoy all of the night feeds because they don’t last forever!'

She added: 'Well thank g-d they don’t last forever because three months in I feel I’ve enjoyed them as much as I possibly can…'

'I’m excited and ready for the sleeping through milestone haha…,' she wrote, before questioning her memory of nights with her older boys Zachary, 11, and Leighton, 7.
