'I’ve heard so many different things about [the movie], but I am excited about the Breaking Bad movie. I can’t wait to see it.'

Odenkirk was actually amazed that the publication didn't know about the production, which is reportedly set for a 2020 release.

'I don’t know what people know and don’t know,' he told THR, adding 'I find it hard to believe you don’t know it was shot.'

He went on, saying: 'They did it. You know what I mean? How is that a secret? But it is. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret.'

Bryan Cranston, the man behind the iconic anti-hero Walter White, all but confirmed the movie while appearing on The Dan Patrick Show earlier this year.

Revealing that he'd 'absolutely' appear in spin-off he explained: 'It's a great story and there are a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some kind of completion to some of these storylines that were left open [in the series finale].

'This idea, from what I'm told, gets into those — at least a couple of the character show were not completed, as far as their journey.'
