Cardi B and Nicki Minaj NYFW shoe throwing feud continues through their BFFs Star Brim and Rah Ali as one threatens to 'spank' the other

Almost a year after Cardi B threw a shoe at Nicki Minaj during New York Fashion Week, their closest friends are rekindling the feud.

Cardi's best friend Star Brim, 27, wasn't there to defend her pal from backlash after the heel was hurled at Minaj, 36, during the Harper's Bazaar ICONS party.

But now she says that if she had been, she would've 'spanked' Minaj's best friend and Love and Hip Hop star Rah Ali, who allegedly 'beat Cardi's a** rea bad' at the event according to Minaj on her Queen Radio podcast in October 2018.

Feud: One year after Cardi B threw a shoe at Nicki Minaj during New York Fashion Week, Cardi B's best friend Star Brim revisited the tension on the latest episode of her podcast

On Wednesday, Star took to her Keepin' It Bute podcast to say: 'Listen, let me tell you something. If I was at that s***, I would have spanked Rah.

'If I see Rah right now, I'll still spank Rah. So it really don't matter. And if I could have got to Nicki, you feel me, then it would have went down too but that b**** is well-protected. It would not have went down the way it went down.'

A source from Rah's camp told TMZ that Star's podcast message is 'just a poor attempt by Star to get her 15 minutes of fame and, instead of worrying about last year's fight, Star should be asking why she's still dancing for dollars while her friend, Cardi, lives lavishly.'

Once the shoe was thrown and chaos broke out, Cardi, 26, left with a bump on her head and told the public it was from a security guard - but Minaj took to her Queen Radio podcast to set the record straight.

The Super Bass lyricist said on-air in October 2018: 'For people who don’t know, Rah Ali beat Cardi’s a** real bad. You went home and told people that security hit you, and we let that ride for legal reasons.'

She continued: 'Anybody that wants to pull up the surveillance footage, I will give you 100 thousand dollars.'

According to Hollywood Life, Cardi attacked Nicki at the event after she liked a comment on social media disparaging Cardi's parenting style.

In video obtained by TMZ of the incident, Cardi can be heard shouting: 'I've let a lot of s*** slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me ... But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f***in off!'

Nicki has denied any behavior resembling a blow to Cardi's chops as a mom.

Following the fight, it wasn't long before Cardi delivered a 10-minute reply to her rival in a now-deleted YouTube video: 'You lie so much you can't even keep up with your f***ing lies. First you say that you got the footage.

'Your cameraman got the footage. But now you talking about how you wanna pay someone $100,000 if they give you the footage. Yo, make sense when you talking.'
