Tom Holland finally addresses Spider-Man's exit from the MCU and tells fans 'I love you 3,000!'

'It's been a crazy week' for Tom Holland, who finally broke his silence Saturday over Disney ending its partnership with Sony Pictures on the Spider-Man franchise (ousting the teen Avenger from the MCU).

'I want you to know that I am grateful from the bottom of my heart,' the 23-year-old Englishman said onstage Anaheim Convention Center at the D23 Disney+ Expo.

'And I love you 3,000.'

The crowd roared as Tom quoted the emotional line - meaning I love you 'more than a ton' - delivered by both Iron-Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and his daughter Morgan (Lexi Rabe) in Avengers: Endgame.

Holland is just grateful to have played the acrobatic Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Captain America: Civil War.

'Basically, we've made five great movies,' the 5ft8in action star told EW on Saturday.

'It's been five amazing years. I've had the time of my life. Who knows what the future holds? But all I know is that I'm going to continue playing Spider-Man and having the time of my life.

The Billy Elliot thespian was technically attending the D23 Disney+ Expo to promote his upcoming voiceover role as elf Ian Lightfoot in Pixar's animated film Onward with Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt.

Tom's comments came the day after his Avengers: Endgame producer Jon Favreau said he was 'cautiously optimistic' the cross-studio partnership will be mended and Spidey can return to the MCU.

'It's still early days,' the 52-year-old Lion King director told ET on Friday.
