Though it's still September, Vanessa Hudgens is already in the mood for Halloween

Hudgens, 30, got into the spooky spirit over the weekend at the opening of the annual Universal Studios Horror Nights in Hollywood.

And on Sunday, the High School Musical star gave off goth girl vibes as she grabbed coffee in a black ensemble in Los Angeles.

Hudgens' gothic look consisted of a short black skirt, a black crop top, black platform combat boots and an oversized beige blazer.

She paired the ensemble with black, cat eye sunglasses and layers of necklaces which included a black choker and chain upon silver chain.

Adding to her mystique: a pair of cross earrings and long, pointy nails covered in a deep inky polish.

The Spring Breakers actress wore her raven tresses up in a ponytail with her bangs hanging down in a middle part that framed her face.

'Halloween is my favorite holiday. I live for Halloween. I literally count down the days,' she told host James Corden.

She even defended the sanctity of the day when Corden and his guest, Matt Smith, said it wasn't a holiday and that because they're both British they 'don't really care,' about it.

'Yes it’s a holiday! It is a season! It is a celebratory season to embrace your inner darkness,' Hudgens retorted.
