Jessica looked sensational in the figure-skimming dress which boasted glittering detailing on the sleeves.

She teamed the stylish ankle-grazing number with a pair of peep-toe heels, and styled her brunette locks in a chic chignon.

Meanwhile, Allen looked every inch the hunk in a slick grey suit, which he teamed with a striped shirt and dark green tie.

Speaking about having their first baby together at the London premiere, Allen gushed to MailOnline: 'It's very exciting. I’m not getting any younger, Jess is but we just decided let’s give it a shot.'

The couple, who tied the knot on January 5 at Alisal Ranch and Resort in California's Santa Ynez Valley, are expecting their first child together.

Talking about the difference between shooting the movie and the show, Allen said: 'We were blessed with time. The budget that you have with a movie means you can take time with things that normally wouldn’t happen as much, like the shots and how everything was created and the story, the story is much bigger.

'The story throws the household into chaos and it needed to be that big to work on the big screen. But the fact that we had all this time has been great.'

The Irish actor, who played Freddie Mercury's manager and boyfriend Paul Prenter in the Queen biopic, admitted he would never forget the moment he laid eyes on his wife as she walked down the aisle.

He told Hello! magazine: 'That moment of seeing Jessica, oh my God, it was magical. It will stay with me forever.'

The couple had envisaged a sun-kissed wedding for their California ceremony, which was officiated by Jessica's mother, but they ended up having heavy rainfall on the day.

Allen and Jessica suffered a setback when the string quartet they had hired could not perform due to the rain.

Fortunately, Lea and Darren stepped up to the plate and entertained the guests.

He said: 'Darren and Lea are such great people and great friends, and they said, "Absolutely no problem" when we told them the situation.

'We grabbed a guitar and they ended up singing the music for our ceremony.'

The pair announced their engagement on Valentine's Day last year.
