Wendy Williams flashes a coy smile after throwing shade at ex Kevin Hunter with new and improved executive producer credits

Wendy Williams looks like she's thriving in the wake of her split from estranged husband Kevin Hunter.

The daytime hostess, 55, flashed a coy smile while out in NYC on Tuesday, perhaps still pleased with herself over her latest insult aimed at her ex.

The day before the New Jersey native debuted new executive producer credits on the season 11 premiere of her show.

Instead of flashing both Kevin and Wendy's names on screen, the credits read: 'Just Wendy.'

Wendy seemed like the new credit sequence had put a smile on her face.

The TV personality glowed while out in a sheer black dress with a textured white duster on top. Adding to her ensemble, she wore a pair of embellished sneakers.

Wendy topped the entire look off with a pair of wide shades and a stunning diamond necklace.

The mother-of-one didn't appear to have a hair out of place, showing off smooth blonde locks as she stepped into her ride and headed off.

Although Wendy first deleted her ex's name from the credits last season following the divorce announcement and his subsequent firing, the new credits seemed to be a declaration of independence for the star.

Still, Williams is trying to stay diplomatic about the split, telling the ladies of The View she still has 'love' for her philandering ex while adding that the father of her 19-year-old son Kevin Jr. will 'always be family.'

But Wendy's kind remarks might be more strategic choice than true sentiment.

According to Page Six: 'Wendy is playing nice so that he can sign the divorce papers and she can move on with her new, single life.'

Wendy and Kevin broke up after revelations about his mistress Sharina Hudson.

At the time Williams was reportedly aware of the affair, coming to 'an agreement' that Hunter could still see Hudson as long as he didn't 'embarrass' Wendy by having a child out of wedlock.

But the arrangement came crashing down in March when it was revealed that Hunter and Hudson had welcomed a baby girl.

Wendy filed divorce papers in April, but the process has yet to be finalized.
