Paul was clad in a red T-shirt with a graphic on it, khaki pants with a huge tear in the leg and sneakers on the outing with Mongeau, who he exchanged vows with in Las Vegas July 28 on a livestream fans paid $49.99 to watch.
In the latest episode of her MTV YouTube show Tana Turns 21, Mongeau said that the nuptials were a publicity stunt and the couple was never exclusively dating.
'Jake and I aren’t officially exclusive so I guess for me we would just take the openness of our relationship into the openness of marriage, right?' Mongeau explained on the show. 'I think we're all trying to piece together the puzzles of what we actually want this engagement and "marriage" to be.'
Later, she added: 'Don’t get me wrong I think a wedding is a very serious thing but at the same time I don’t think Jake and I take things very seriously. I have a lot of love for him but it’s still something fun and light-hearted that we’re obviously doing for fun and for content.'
Revelation: Tana opened up about the marriage's authenticity, or lack thereof, on her MTV YouTube show Tana Turns 21
Something's amiss: Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau's wedding is being called into question as she admitted it was for content on her MTV reality show. They were snapped after their July 28 nuptials at Graffiti House in her native Vegas
The pair - who exchanged vows and rings on July 28 in Las Vegas, discussed how she was 'playing it up' to make it seem as though the wedding was real to watchers.
'This wedding is 100 percent legal on paper, right?' Mongeau asked Paul, who looked uncomfortable. Paul responded, 'I don’t know if we can talk about that though because we should make it seem like it is.'
In a confessional, Mongeau admitted that she had been trolling fans: 'We’ve just kind of been playing it up for the f***ing people because at the end of the day we are internet trolls - it’s up to us how real it is.'
After the episode went live, Mongeau seemingly backtracked her comments on the show, maintaining it had been taking out of context.
Speaking out: She responded on Twitter after the MTV show aired
Fake vows? The social media couple's wedding officiant, Arman Izadi, wasn't legally authorized to marry them
Ruined the moment: Just as Izadi was about to declare Jake, 22, and Tana, 21, husband and wife, a guest threw a drink at them, starting an all-out-brawl at the altar
'The "for fun and content" sound bite was from a very long sentence lmao and was a little salty to see it pulled out of context … I understand though that MTV has their own creative & that these episodes are airing very late, especially in timing with the wedding. I’m not trippin,' she wrote.
She continued her expletive-laded rant: 'i know that things have moved so fast, are unconventional, and confusing but i love jake. i truly do, in the weirdest f***ing way. every second of this rollercoaster ride has been so fun & crazy. i hate that it’ll probably always come with owing people some explanation especially with so many things coming out like the show (which is quite behind)... but i know that’s kinda the life we signed up for. idk. i’ll f**k off.'
His own brother previously expressed doubts over the couple's union when he said he gave their marriage 'a month.'
It was also revealed the couple didn't get a marriage license for their Las Vegas wedding on Sunday.
Back on track: Jack and Tana were quick to move on and share their first kiss as husband and wife
A new report claims the fame-hungry couple are not legally wed as they did not obtain a marriage license in the state of Nevada before their highly-published nuptials.
Additionally, reports InTouch, the social media couple's wedding officiant wasn't legally authorized to marry them.
The Clark County, Nevada website states that in order for a couple to be legally married, 'a ceremony must be performed by a licensed Marriage Officiant who has been issued a valid Certificate of Permission by a Nevada County Clerk. Having an online ordination or religious affiliation is not sufficient.'
Jake and Tana's wedding was officiated by their pal Arman Izadi and InTouch confirmed that he isn’t a licensed Marriage Officiant within the state.
Now fans are questioning whether the whole event was a hoax.
Jake got into a fight at the wedding after a guest threw a glass of champagne over the couple, prompting a furious response from the groom.
The couple exchanged vows at the infamous Graffiti Mansion in Las Vegas in front of hundreds of guests, an MTV camera crew, and thousands of fans who paid $49.99 to watch their nuptials via a livestream. However, the day wasn't without drama.
Outfit change: Tana wore a form-fitting lace gown before she changed into a strapless white and pink dress with ruffles
Just as their wedding officiant Armani Izadi was about to declare Jake, 22, and Tana, 21, husband and wife, a guest threw a drink at them, starting an all-out-brawl at the altar.
In their wedding video, the groom can be heard saying: 'What the f*** bro?' before lunging to push the unidentified culprit away. Armani joined in and fists started flying as the celebration turned into one big fight.
'A dude came up and threw champagne on Tana and Jake and Jake pushed him and our priest Armani, I don’t know how else to say this, he beat the s**t out of him,' explained Jake's equally famous brother, YouTuber Logan Paul.

Logan told Hollywood Life after the ceremony he wanted to get involved but couldn't due to a hamstring problem. The fight, which lasted for a few minutes, was eventually broken up by security, who rushed in to kick out the perpetrator.
While most newlyweds would be thrown for a loop if a fight broke out on their big day, Jake and Tana were quick to move on and share their first kiss as husband and wife.
'Someone just threw a glass of champagne at Jake and I at the f**king altar holy f**k HAAHAHAHAHAHA. Jana don’t need no press,' Tana tweeted. 'Wow. Just married. Honestly made it better.... to slow dance while they scream. I love you @jakepaul.'
Loving it: Tana told guests the wedding was 'everything she ever wanted,' despite being drenched at the altar
Young love? Jake and Tana's relationship has been rumored to have been fake from the start, and many believe their wedding was an elaborate publicity stunt
An eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight that the fight appeared to be staged, and the blowout only fueled speculation that their wedding was a carefully manufactured publicity stunt.
Among the guests was rapper Mod Sun, 32, who shares an ex-girlfriend with Tana - 21-year-old actress Bella Thorne. The front of the venue was spray-painted with couple's names, their wedding hashtag #JanaForever, and the date. A spray paint artist was also on hand to create murals of the newlyweds during the event.
The ceremony, as well as the reception that was held at the Sugar Factory, was filmed by MTV and aired on YouTube, costing fans $49.99 to watch. The event featured tons of candy from the Sugar Factory, a 'no regrets' bar, floating candles, a wall of roses, and an Oprah Winfrey impersonator.

Jake later smashed their wedding cake with a sword and knocked it to the floor before dancing in the splattered dessert. The raucous celebration was eventually shut down, prompting Jake to continue his celebrations on the other side of the Vegas strip.
Just hours before the bride was to walk down the aisle, Tana took to YouTube to share a special video tribute about her future husband to her more than four million subscribers.
'I love you. It actually still scares me so much to say it, because once I say it's somewhere out there than my head,' she says in the video. 'It becomes completely real and to be quite frank, I'm so used to losing everything I love and I don't want to lose you.'
Jake and Tana's wedding comes just one month after they got engaged and three months since they started dating.
Their relationship has been rumored to have been fake from the start, with many finding their rapid courtship and Jake's decision to propose with a $125 cubic zirconium ring to be suspicious.
Jake's brother Logan said during the ceremony: 'I give it a month,' and joked 'I'm excited that they get to do things together for the next month or so.'
But the YouTube star said he doesn't question that there are feeling between the couple.
All about 'Jana'! The couple's names, hashtag, and wedding date were spray-painted on the front of the venue along with a bunch of hearts and bows
'I think I have to come around,' he said. 'Like, I think everyone was hesitant until tonight, like, how you do you dump three quarters of a million dollars into a wedding and not have it be somewhat realistic?
'I really do think they love each other. And I mean, I’m his own brother. And it seems pretty real to me, as far as I don’t know, the feelings they have for each other.'
The couple met in late April and announced their engagement just one month later at her 21st birthday party on June 24. Jake later revealed their official wedding date while reciting a lewd poem during Tana's VidCon panel on July 15.

'Welcome to the Paul family, we welcome you with love. From the moment I met you, we fit like a glove. She's the ying to my yang and is always down to bang,' he said onstage at the Anaheim Convention Center.
'Logan and [your ex-girlfriend Bella Thorne] can hate, the world can question our fate, but on July 28 you can all save the date,' he finished.
