'When George was here he'd eat a mound of sugar straight from the spoon - and he'd feed the same to DJ.

'As a result it has rotten her back teeth, getting her to brush them is a nightmare, it's been upsetting seeing her in such pain.'

Kerry and the family have gone through a 'hugely painful time' after ex George died in an abrupt, drug-related death in a Holiday Inn on July 6 at the age of 39.

The Atomic Kitten singer has spoken candidly about her family's grief following George's death.

Kerry recently wrote in her new! magazine column that she is finally ready to move on.

She wrote: 'Anyone who’s lost a husband – estranged or otherwise – will know it’s a hugely painful time and the feelings of anger and sadness and confusion aren’t lessened just because I hadn’t seen him in a while.

'But life goes on and now it’s time for me to get stronger and move on for the sake of my children and myself... it's time to get myself out there again and just get back to being Kerry.'

Kerry has daughters, Molly, 17, and Lilly-Sue, 16, with first husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 12, and Maxwell, 11, with second spouse Mark Croft and Dylan-Jorge, with late third husband George.
