Paramount Pictures released a statement in December 2017 saying that filming had been temporarily suspended as Blake sustained an injury to her hand while shooting, but production would resume as soon as possible.

She was spotted back at work in January 2018, but needed a second hand surgery which caused the film to be delayed.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Morano said Lively was doing well, but there were issues.

'The problem is that normally, that kind of an injury, you would have 4 to 6 weeks of rehab and then you would wear a splint. We have to go into stunts, so it's very complicated,' she said.
