Kristen Stewart touched down at the Maria Cristina Hotel in Spain on Thursday evening ahead of the 67th San Sebastian International Film Festival.

The Twilight star, 29, cut a typically casual figure as she greeted delighted fans on arrival in the European country.

The annual festival - which kicks off on September 20 and ends on September 28 - serves as the biggest film event in the Spanish-speaking world since its inception in 1953, and will open with the premiere of Roger Michell’s drama film Blackbird.

Opting for comfort, the award-winning actress sported a cosy grey jumper embellished with a bold blue circle for her low-key outing.

The Snow White and the Huntsman star maintained her dressed-down appearance as she teamed her sweatshirt with a pair of distressed denim jeans and rugged canvas trainers.

Adding even more quirk to her look, Kristen donned a bright blue baseball cap, tortoise sunglasses and a selection of silver jewellery.

On what attendees can expect from the festival, director José Luis Rebordinos told Variety: 'Every festival has its own personality. Venice is now mainly a platform for big star-driven U.S. movies, Cannes for very high-quality cinema.

'We search for new talent, and if you want to know what’s going on now in Latin America, come to San Sebastián.'

In the romance department, Kristen has  been loved-up with screenwriter Dylan Meyer ever since she split from on-off partner Stella Maxwell in July. 

Recently, a source told E! News that Kristen was happy with her new girlfriend Dylan, following the split from model Stella, 29, earlier in the summer.

'She was seeing Stella for a little bit while it worked, but now she has moved on with Dylan.' 

The beauty is focusing on her bond with the writer and the pair try to 'see each other as much as possible.'
