Ellen mentioned how brave Burnett was for coming out on national television, especially since she was at the time in a relationship with Derek Peth.

When asked by Ellen what she was feeling about herself when she came out, Burnett said there was a lot of fear.

'It was a lot of fear. It was fear of judgment, fear of disappointing people in my life, making them uncomfortable. It was just really hard, really scary, but I think it all worked out,' Burnett said.

'You know, honestly, at this point, I'm worried about Chris and Katie,' Burnett said. 'I know that Katie is an optimist and she sees the good, she gets glimpses of the good parts of Chris, but I think Chris needs to step it up if he wants to keep her.'

She added that Katie needs to, 'tell him to step it up,' while advocating for couple's counseling for them, which Ellen agreed with.

Ellen said that she'd like to have her own show where she comments on people, and Demi joked, 'I wouldn't have any friends left.'

Gift: Ellen then brought out some gifts for Demi and Kristian, a pair of matching bikinis that said 'Bride' on both of the bikini bottoms.
