Sam Smith dons unbuttoned shirt and heeled boots as they pose with Renee Zellweger at the Judy premiere... days after coming out as non-binary
It's been a memorable week for Sam Smith, who came out as non-binary on social media, just before it was revealed they'd purchased a new luxury home in London.
And the 27-year-old singer was seen living it up thousands of miles away from home in Beverly Hills, California, on Thursday, when they joined Renee Zellweger at the premiere of her new Judy Garland biopic, Judy.
The Stay With Me hitmaker caught the eye as they arrived at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in a green suit and a matching unbuttoned satin shirt, while standing tall in a pair of white heeled Shaun Ross x United Nude limited edition boots.

Singer Sam was met with thousands of mostly supportive comments, along with some detractors, when they came out as non-binary on September 13th.

Dress to impress like Renee in Oscar de la Renta
Of course Renee Zellweger was the star of the show when she took to the red carpet in Beverly Hills for the premiere of Judy.
She chose a red floral mini dress for the occasion, which features a structured strapless neckline and a statement floor-sweeping sash on one side. Love the ruched details and jacquard fabric too!
It's by Oscar de la Renta, and hails from the Resort '20 collection. That means it's not available to buy quite yet, but click (right) to get a look at it up close over at Moda Operandi.

'Today is a good day so here goes. I've decided I am changing my pronouns to THEY/THEM,' they wrote on Twitter and Instagram.
What is non-binary?
People who identify as non-binary are also part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Identifying as non-binary means that you don’t see yourself as neither a male or female.
In many cases, people who are non-binary prefer to be referred to as ‘them’ or ‘they’.
Being non-binary relates to a person’s gender rather than the characteristics a person may have.
'After a lifetime of being at war with my gender I've decided to embrace myself for who I am, inside and out.'
Sam said they were excited and privileged for the support, adding that they've been 'very nervous' about the announcement because they 'care too much about what people think' but finally decided to go for it.
'Love you all,' Sam tweeted, adding they're scared 'but feeling super free right now. Be kind.'
The singer noted: 'P.s. I am at no stage just yet to eloquently speak at length about what it means to be non binary but I can't wait for the day that I am. So for now I just want to be VISIBLE and open.'
British star is now the owner of two north London homes, after snapping up a five-bedroom, Grade II listed property in Hampstead, believed to have cost £12million.

The home is said to be a stone's throw from an 18th century townhouse purchased by the multimillionaire singer in 2015, located next door to the sprawling property formerly owned by Culture Club star Boy George.
A source told The Sun: 'Sam is one of the biggest pop-stars in the country, and has been handsomely rewarded as a result.
'But they have also been very wise with their money, had sound financial advice and invested sensibly in bricks and mortar. The new property is absolutely stunning and boasts a very colourful history.'
Sam first rose to fame in 2012 after featuring on Disclosure's breakthrough single Latch. The song peaked at number 11 in the UK chart and Smith has since been a firm fixture of the UK music scene
