Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green enjoy a day at Disneyland with their three young sons

It's a struggle many a parent will sympathize with.

On Saturday, Megan Fox and her husband, 46-year-old Brian Austin Green, took their three sons to DisneyLand for some Halloween fun.

But when it came to capturing the memories, the photos proved less than perfect.

'Halloween at @disneyland is always the most fun but can I get ONE family photo where everyone is looking at the camera and making a semi normal face,' Fox, 33, complained in an Instagram post of the outing.

The Transformers star posted three photos of the Anaheim trip.

In the first photo, Fox can be seen sitting in front of a colorful Ferris wheel at Disney's California Adventure with Noah, seven, Bodhi, five, and Journey, three.

Fox can be seen wearing Minnie Mouse ears, decorated with a pink flower headband.

All three of the youngsters wear Halloween costumes, with Journey's the most obvious: a red dragon.

In the second photo, Green, Fox and all three of the children they share together pose in front of the castle.

Noah can be seen wearing his full costume, complete with a hot pink wig and a spooky black witches' hat.

Fox has spoken candidly about her son Noah's love of dresses and clothing that is typically considered feminine.

The Jennifer's Body actress and Green opted out of costumes, with both wearing simple black tops.

Not pictured was Green's 17-year-old son Kassius, though they were spotted having dinner together earlier in the week.

Fox recently opened up her son Noah's unique passion for fashion.

'He's really into fashion... he'll dress himself and he likes to wear dresses, sometimes,' Fox said on The Talk

Noah was being bullied at school for wearing the traditionally feminine garment, but the mom of three says she's teaching him to follow his own course in life, as evidenced by Noah's witchy wig and spiffy sorceress dress.

'I send him to a really liberal, like hippy school,' she continued.

'But even there, here in California, he still has little boys going like, "Boys don't wear dresses," or "Boys don't wear pink."'

Despite the taunts from other boys, Fox and Green are teaching Noah confidence, not conformity.

'We're going through that now, where I'm trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says,' she said.
