House Of 1000 Corpses actor Sid Haig's cause of death revealed to be heart and lung failure
The cause of actor Sid Haig's death has been revealed.
The House Of 1000 Corpses talent suffered heart and lung failure after dealing with chronic pulmonary disease, according a death certificate obtained by TMZ.
The certificate lists cardiorespiratory failure as the immediate cause of his September 21 death.

The 80-year-old actor was best know as Captain Spaulding in the Rob Zombie horror film.
Sid was in tough shape at the time of his death. In the death certificate the doctor also noted that Haig suffered from COPD, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Sid's wife Suzie first shared the sad news on his social media last month, writing: 'On Saturday, September 21, 2019, my light, my heart, my true love, my King, the other half of my soul, Sidney, passed from this realm on to the next.'

'He adored his family, his friends and his fans. This came as a shock to all of us. We, as a family, are asking that our privacy and time to mourn be respected.'
House of 1000 Corpses director Rob Zombie also commemorated Haig's loss, posting a picture o the actor in full character to Instagram.
'Hooray for Captain Spaulding. Gone but not forgotten,' Zombie captioned the tribute.
Haig had reappeared recently as Spaulding in Zombie's film 3 from Hell.

The actor's other 149 official credits ranged from George Lucas' THX 1138 to the Quentin Tarantino movies Jackie Brown and Kill Bill, Vol. 2.
He also appeared in the 1970s blaxploitation classic Foxy Brown.
The Fresno, California, native played drums for the 1950s group the T-Birds before working in film.
