Rosario Dawson stuns in a black ensemble at the premiere of new documentary LA Woman Rising

As her new movie Zombieland: Double Tap hits theaters this weekend, Rosario Dawson celebrated the premiere of another new film, the documentary LA Woman Rising.

The 40 year old actress was all smiles at the LA Woman Rising premiere and panel discussion, held at the Saban Theatre in Beverly HIlls on Thursday night.

Dawson took the stage with actress and LA Woman Rising director Nana Ghana at the premiere and discussion.

Dawson as wearing a sleeveless black top tucked into black pants with black pointed toe pumps.

She also wore large gold hoop earrings with her hair brushed to one side  as she took to the stage.

Dawson not only appears in the LA Woman Rising documentary as herself, but she also serves as an executive producer.

LA Woman Rising follows 50 Los Angeles area women who are all, 'revealing their truth' about what it takes for them to get up each morning.

Ghana's film captures theses women's morning rituals, with the documentary, 'considered a love letter to the real and diverse women of Los Angeles.'

Other Los Angeles women featured in the documentary include actresses Megalyn Echikunwoke and Satine Phoenix, talent agent Nicole Nagel and choreographer Suzo Vanja Isabella, with the film released in theaters and VOD October 18.

Dawson stars in Zombieland: Double Tap, in theaters Friday, and Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, which debuted in theaters through Fathom Events on October 15 and 17.

She also voices Wonder Woman in a pair of DC Comics animated adventures, The Death and Return of Superman and Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, both released earlier this month.

She also stars in the upcoming series Briarpatch and the upcoming film The Water Man from David Oyelowo, who stars and makes his directorial debut.

Aside from keeping professionally, Dawson has made headlines for dating United States Senator and Presidential candidate Rosario Dawson.

Dawson confirmed her relationship with Booker back in March in an interview with TMZ, where she called him an 'amazing human being.'

'I am just grateful to be with someone that I respect and love and admire so much, who is so brilliant and kind and caring and loving,' she added.
