Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway 'signs up for I'm A Celebrity... one year after pulling out of the hit ITV jungle series'

Last year she was said to have pulled out of the hit ITV jungle series just weeks before filming was due to start.

Yet this year Kate Garraway could actually board the plane to the jungle as she has reportedly signed up for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2019.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 52, has booked time off work in order to take part in the series when it returns next month, reports The Sun

It comes 12 months after Kate was said to have pulled out of the show because of her hectic schedule - despite sources claiming she was offered £150,000 to take part.

The mother-of-two has previously teased that her children Darcey, 13, and William, ten, are desperate to see her on the popular ITV programme.

In March she said: 'I think it’s completely terrifying but it’s also a brilliant show to watch, so I don’t know.

'My kids would love me to do it, I don’t know what that says.'

MailOnline has contacted Kate's representatives and ITV for comment, with a representative saying: 'It’s just speculation. We’ll announce our line up for the new series nearer transmission.'

Her co-host Piers Morgan has previously joked he will do I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! for £5 million after Ant and Dec said that he 'keeps wriggling out' of it.

The presenter, 54, took to Twitter over the Geordie duo's claims in September as he tweeted: 'Sure.. £5 million & I’ll do it.'

Piers' declaration comes after Ant and Dec made their comment at the Royal Television Society conference in Cambridge in September.

Dec said during the event: 'Piers has said he would do it for a certain amount of money, which I think we could meet, but he keeps on wriggling out of it.'

To which Ant added: 'We have a list that we get every year and we add to it and subtract from it.

'On our list at the moment, one person we are tracking down this year is Richard Madeley. Tim Westwood. I would like to see that. Alan Shearer, the list is endless.'
