James Van Der Beek's kids copy their dad as they reenact his pirate performance from DWTS Disney night

They are Disney's target audience.

And James Van Der Beek’s young children were inspired to 'reenact' their father's Disney Night performance on Dancing With The Stars in an Instagram clip that was shared on Saturday.

The 42-year-old Dawson’s Creek star posted the video showing four of his five tots prancing and hopping around a bedroom at home, as they each try to grab the camera's attention.

In the clip, James's wife Kimberly Brook (who's currently expecting the couple's sixth child), can be heard oohing and aahing in approval.

Sweetly, James captioned the cute post with 'What you do with all your heart… can be contagious.'

The family dance was inspired by this week's DWTS episode, in which James and his pro partner Emma performed a Paso Doble set to He’s a Pirate by Klaus Badelt, from the Disney film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

The Van Der Beek clan was clearly excited for the Disney night of dancing, as they all arrived to the telecast in full swashbuckler regalia for the telecast.

While James's performance was well received, Ally Brooke soared to the top of the leaderboard again on last Monday night's episode, earning the first nines of season 28.

For the show's traditional Disney Night, the 26-year-old singer and her partner Sasha Farber, 35, performed a contemporary routine to Beauty And The Beast.

Their flawless performance to her 'favorite film' saw Ally flying effortlessly around the stage as she played the role of the heroine, rose petals falling over her head.
