Lindsay Lohan puts on a glamorous display in figure-hugging pink dress as she parties in New York City... after teasing new music

She's carved out a new life for herself in Europe, but Lindsay Lohan was back on her home turf this weekend.

The actress, 33, was dressed to impress to attend her LLohan Nightclub pop up at the Playboy Club in New York City on Saturday, adding some star power to the launch event.

Lindsay was back to her best in a pastel pink dress with a low neckline and an asymmetric hem, exuding glamour while posing outside the venue.

Look pretty in pink like Lindsay wearing David Koma

Clearly, it’s not just on Wednesdays that Lindsay Lohan wears pink as we spotted her out in New York over the weekend in this pastel David Koma number.

The midi dress features an asymmetric hem, V-neckline and fitted silhouette, but it’s the crystal-embellishment on the side that really makes the dress stand out. We love how Lindsay has completed the look with pink Valentino ‘Rockstud’ heels and a mini tweed bag by Chanel.

Sadly, the pink version has now sold out, but the black colourway is still available to buy at MyTheresa. Just click (right) to shop your size.

Alternatively, look pretty in a pink number from our picks below which include NBD, Jonathan Simkhai and Norma Kamali. Style yours with Lindsay’s shoes by shopping a pair at Farfetch or opt for silver metallic sandals to compliment the embellished detailing.

The Mean Girls star showed off her incredible figure in the bodycon garment, which boasted silver button detailing on her left hip.

She pulled her look together with some choice designer accessories, including a white Chanel bag and studded Valentino heels.

Lindsay added a touch of glamour to her attire thanks to a pair of sparkling earrings and styled her long, red hair down in tumbling curls.

The star has been plotting her musical comeback, which comes over a decade after she last branched out into music.

After releasing a track named Xanax, Lindsay shared what appears to be the cover of her new album.

She began her caption explaining inspiration for her latest musical release, saying she was inspired 'because LOS ANGELES was mind numbing to me and I felt vapid.'

On the track she sings 'I don't like the parties in LA, I go home in a bad mood pass out, wake up alone. Just to do it all over again, looking for you.'

In her post she went on explain her background and how very unlike LA it was, while she spoke highly of her mom Dinah Lohan 'I am from Cold Spring Harbor, NY, moved back and forth to NYC and my mother was from the Bronx, strong woman and a beautiful person.'

'We all have our faults and fake promises from different people,' the Parent Trap actress wrote. 'My parents have had their ups and downs, but, At the end of the day, your karma will define your future. I don’t care about what anyone says.'

Her family gained notoriety in the mid 2000's with her parents divorce, her father's arrests and her family's reality show.

She continued: 'It has been my job to be there and be strong for my family. Maybe I have gotten frustrated, maybe I have failed to your opinions, what I know now is, I’m doing things so well and so right. '

'I have a blessed heart as does my family. I’m too smart for my own good sometimes, robotic actually: say what you want to say about me and my loved ones. You will always fail. Take it or leave it. We ain’t going anywhere. '

Lindsay is the oldest of four children, with brothers Michael, 32, and Dakota, 23, and sister Aliana (Ali), 25.

'Slow and steady wins the race. Love all, live with respect, gratitude, understanding and appreciation and you will live an honest life of truth,' she wrote. '[Aliana] she’s the light of my life as are my brothers. I am blessed to feel safe enough to trust in those that love you so that you can shine.'

There is no word on a possible date for her album's release but her single debuted back in August on the Kris Fade Show podcast.

She previously released two studio albums Speak in 2004 and A Little More Personal (Raw) in 2005, which were certified platinum and gold respectively.

Her singles Rumors, Over and Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father) received commercial success and her last single Bossy in 2008 reach number one on the Billboard Dance Club Hit chart.

The former child star has been busy, earlier this year she starred in MTV reality show Lindsay Lohan Beach Club and has been judge on Masked Singer Australia.
