Smarten up like Hailee wearing a Monse suit
Monse is a brand all about delivering staple ready-to-wear pieces that play on deconstructing traditional feminine silhouettes.
So it’s no wonder their pieces stand out and why we noticed Hailee Steinfeld when she strutted her stuff in New York recently.
The actress is promoting her new series, Dickinson, in a designer heavy wardrobe thanks to stylist Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. The renowned duo dressed the actress in this blazer and matching trouser suit from Monse’s Resort ’20 collection with white corset boots.
We love the adventurous patchwork design that’s combined with classic pinstripe patterns as well as the oversized silhouettes.
It’s definitely a statement look we wish we could snap up, but sadly it’s not available to buy yet. However, if you want to recreate Hailee’s outfit then start by shopping a similar blazer from the edit below which includes a spitting image Monse number and a bargain by Unique 21.
She paired the look with white pointed-toe boots and allowed her long brunette locks to cascade down her back.
Steinfeld kept her makeup minimal with a swipe of brown shadow with metallic flecks and a berry-toned lip pigment.
Dickinson 'audaciously explores the constraints of society, gender and family from the perspective of rebellious young poet Emily Dickinson,' according to an official Apple synopsis.

Although the show's title character is an 1850s poet, Steinfeld believes that young girls will be able to learn from her experiences.
'I hope that they don’t feel like they have to be okay with being unseen, because that’s not okay. You should want to feel understood and good about who you are and what you do and what makes you happy,' she said to Variety.
Steinfeld continued: 'I’m so excited that I was given the opportunity to embody this character.

'I mean, I could have used this a couple of years ago, but I can use every bit of it in my life right now.
'And I can only hope that other young girls see the show and feel fearless and courageous and can embody that sense of Emily Dickinson, as well.'
