Justin Timberlake gets into character as he walks to trailer on the set of his movie Palmer in New Orleans

He found fame as a fresh-faced Mouseketeer on Disney's Mickey Mouse Club.

But Justin Timberlake wore a fierce scowl as he got into character on the set of his new movie Palmer in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Saturday.

The 38-year-old actor-singer was seen walking to his make-up trailer dressed in a white T-shirt and faded jeans plus heavy work boots.

Justin plays Eddie Palmer, who has just come out of jail after serving 10 years for attempted manslaughter, and the former high school football star is now living with his grandmother, Vivian.

Her neighbor is a beautiful meth addict and mom to seven-year-old Sam who likes to play with dolls and dress up as a girl.

With the woman often out scoring drugs, Eddie's grandmother stands in as the little boy's caregiver.

But Eddie finds himself suddenly responsible for Sam when she asks him to babysit.

Meanwhile, Justin is reprising his voice role on Trolls World Tour, the sequel to Trolls, for which he earned a Best Original Song Oscar nomination for Can't Stop The Feeling!

The animated comedy is due out on April 17.

The actor combines his busy screen life with being a daddy to son Silas, four, whom he shares with his actress wife of seven years, Jessica Biel.

Currently, Jessica stars as Lia Haddock on the TV series, Limetown.

She recently spoke about how she wants to have more children. 

In an interview with OK! magazine, Jessica said: 'Babies are crazy and hectic. But, yeah. I think if it happened to us, it would be great.' 

The 37-year-old actress joked that she and the Mirrors hitmaker are 'working on' having another child, and having fun doing it. 

She said: 'I mean, we're working on it. We're having a good time. You're making me blush!'

Jessica also opened up about Silas, who is named after Justin's grandfather, revealing the youngster has inherited many of his pop star father's traits. 

She said: 'Well, he's a very good DJ. I guess you could say he's musician adjacent. He's very funny, which is very much like Justin. It's scary not only does he get the joke but he makes the joke. We're at the part of life, which is very funny.' 

Jessica also revealed that Silas is an 'old man trapped in a little body', despite not yet reaching his fifth birthday. 

She said: 'I took away his iPad and his life was ruined. He's an old man trapped in a little body. He's been here before, I think.'
