Lucy Hale, Maggie Q, Jimmy O. Yang, Ryan Hansen, and Austin Stowell play visitors at the enchanted island, where they are greeted by Mr. Roarke (Michael Pena) and his bubbly sidekick (Parisa Fitz-Henley).

Initially, all seems fine as they play around in paradise.

The guests party the night away at a wild beach side bash, and sleep in luxurious accommodations.

But it isn't long until they are all in for a rude awakening about the true intentions of the island.

'There is only one fantasy per guest,' Mr. Roarke informs the arrivals. 'And you must see your fantasy through, no matter what.'

Melanie (Lucy) ends up getting exactly what she asked for after revealing her fantasy would be to exact revenge on a childhood bully.

The young woman wanders into a room, where she sees her former bully (played by Portia Doubleday) tied up and bound to a chair.

Initially, Melanie believes the woman in the chair is just an illusion.

'That is a really good hologram!' she says, clearly impressed.

But soon it becomes clear the woman is in fact her bully, sitting inside of a real-life torture chamber.

'Oh my God, that's really her,' Melanie says in shock, after watching liquid pour over her head.

'They brought her back to life,' she told Mr. Roarke, in awe.

But as the island revealed it's true intentions, it all became clear to her.

'We weren't brought here to have our own fantasies,' she later remarks.  'We were brought here to be apart of something else.'

Fantasy Island is based on the series of the same name, which aired from 1977 to 1984 and starred Ricardo Montalbán as Mr. Roarke.

The series followed Mr. Roarke and his sidekick, Tattoo, as they made their guest's wildest dreams come to life. But there was always a drawback.
